INVITATION TO PRE-QUALIFY AND TO BID
The Provincial Government of Bohol has secured a loan from the Development Bank of the Philippines which will be used to fund for the procurement and acquisition of various brand new construction/heavy equipment to upgrade the existing equipment capability of the Provincial Motorpool. The main objective of the Project is to address the problem of old and inadequate equipment of the Provincial Government in order to respond to the needs of the constituency particularly in infrastructure project implementation and disaster response.
The Provincial Government of Bohol through the Bids and Awards Committee for CY 2021, intends to apply the sum of TWO HUNDRED SIXTEEN MILLION TWENTY THOUSAND PESOS ONLY (P 216,020,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for Procurement of Various Heavy Equipment under the Office of the Provincial Motorpool, Capitol Site, Tagbilaran City for CY 2021. Bid Proposal received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

The Provincial Government of Bohol now invites bids for the above mentioned goods. Delivery of the Goods and Services are required as above stated after receipt of the Contract Agreement. Bidders should have a contract similar to the project with an amount of at least 50%of the Approved Budget for the Contract. The description on an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly Section 11, Instructions to Bidders.
Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures, using non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184.
Bidding is open to all interested local or foreign bidders, subject to the condition for prior eligibility provided in the IRR of RA 9184 as mentioned above.
Interested Bidders may obtain further information from the Provincial Government of Bohol and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday only except holidays.
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders on October 7-27, 2021 from the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of P 50,000.00 at the Provincial Treasurer’s Office, Capitol Compound, Tagbilaran City
It may also be downloaded from the website of the Procuring Entity www.bohol.gov.ph, provided that Bidders shall pay the non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids.
The Government of Bohol will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on October 13, 2021 at, 9:30 a.m., at the BAC Office Conference Room, PPMU Office which shall be open to all interested parties.
Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before October 27, 2021 at 9:30am. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms in the amount stated in the ITB Clause 18.
Bid opening shall be on October 27, 2021 @ 9:30AM @ the PPMU Office, Tagbilaran City. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder’s representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late Bids shall not be accepted.
The Provincial Government of Bohol reserves the right or reject any and all bid, to annul the bidding process and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
